Hard To Talk About Money?

There are seminars available for those wanting help with their financial issues.  People show up and happy to listen for hours about financial topics, but when it was time for these couples to discuss between themselves, they shows signs of discomfort. This could come from people who grew up not talking about money and so now, even as adults, they don’t know how or they are embarrassed about it.

Maybe it is their current situation they are in because of their past choices or behaviors toward money. Some attendees can easily talk about their current work and seem excited about their future where other couldn’t care less. As long as the paycheck shows up on time, the world can take care of its self.

Asking these people what job they would have is they didn’t need to work for the income. This question brings up lifelong dreams or goals that have never been talked about before. If you have a goal, you can then have a path to work toward it because it seems budgeting is a confrontational subject.
